I Miss Counting Sheep
In this colored pencil drawing, I was exploring how it felt to go to sleep at night. Often, the fears I acquire have taken the place of the sheep I used to count to sleep. Replaced with the stress and fear that always appear quite grand in the late hours of the night.

The Proletariat
This graphite drawing is a piece that resembles the corruption of free speech by wealth, which has been seen throughout history. The political details show the suppression that the individual is protesting against. Inspired by an art piece titled, "Thoughtful Muse" which has an unknown origin.

The Milan Cathedral Door: A representation of the beauty
The inspiration for this piece was drawn from the infamous doors of the Milan Cathedral in Northern Italy. The doors are made of bronze and consist of biblical tales shown in architecture that stretches around 33.8 feet high. Given the immense detail, I drew a smaller section to capture the beauty.

Where the Water Waits
This piece serves as a indirect self portrait inspired by a photo I took of the sunsetting on the lake at my grandmothers house The dock holds memories of peace, warmth, and connection; all feelings that are deeply part of who I am. The calm water and open sky reflect the comfort I feel here.

Portrait Of Tim
This is a portrait of a close friend of mine, he is very involved in the minneapolis art scene, and works closely with the Prince museum and showings of Prince's history. I decided to paint him, to try and capture the person he is onto the canvas, There is a lot to discover in this painting.

Portrait Of A Young Man
This is a painting I made of a man, the painting is to the level of completion that I think suits it. There is a very tough balance in finding when to stop a piece, This is the stopping point for me.

Dance of Fire
This drawing takes elements from my culture and beliefs to combine into one. The dragon and phoenix are sacred Vietnamese animals. The border is a Tibetan Buddhist pattern I have seen a lot at my temple.
