This painting was inspired by my Nordic Art and Design trip to Sweden. While visiting a small Museum cottage in Lund, Sweden, the past was opened up to us to explore. I saw this scene in a tiny kitchen with fish laid out, hard-boiled eggs, & Potatoes. A staple meal in Sweden that had to be painted.
