Serenity
Capturing the serenity of Lake Superior was my goal in this photograph. The soft, out-of-focus orange flowers contrast with the intensity of the cold waves, creating a sense of mystery to what lies beyond the fog.

City Never Dreams
I have always adored the Minneapolis skyline for its unique and aesthetically pleasing layout. When fog settles overtop the tallest buildings, it adds a senes of mystery and creates a dreamlike atmosphere. The city appears awake yet quiet, existing in a state between stillness and motion.

What the Walls Witness
This piece is a multiple exposure that combines two things that I see everyday where I live. The couch I see every day and sit on in my living room in my house is special to me. The brick house is something I see from my very living room window It has witnessed so much every day, with the couch.

Sports photography captures meaningful moments the important stories of a fast-paced world. I aimed to capture the exact moment of emotion, pride, and anticipation as UMDâ s Max Plante skated into the spotlight, freezing the intensity to showcase the significance of this moment.

Brian's Room
This is a photograph of my Uncle Brianâ s bedroom. At 54, his room houses all the colorful characters he loves and pictures of friends and family. The glow of the curtains, rainbow bedding, and plush companions reflect his personality in the same warm and honest tone as the image.

Strength in Numbers
I took this family's photo at the candlelight vigil for Renee Good two days after she was murdered by ICE. The street where she was shot was blocked off and many people stood with signs, supplied people with food and coffee, had fires, and paid respects.

St. Ides Heaven
This photo was originally from a series of 8 that were meant to act as film stills telling a story of addiction and melancholy. I chose this single photo from the series as I felt it best encapsulated the overall mood and style.

Soup
Film photograph, taken with a Nikon FM, with Kodak UltraMax 400. I shot a roll of film, then poured boiling water over it for 10 minutes. After I put it in a 'soup' containing Monster energy drink, Mike's Hard Lemonade, and sparkling water for 2 hours. This was an experimental project.

Spirit trail
Taken on a routine hike, I've always felt a spiritual presence in this area, once occupied by the Anishinaabe. The lighting and the quiet nature made for an ideal photo opportunity.
