First Aid Kit
In the wake of ICE abductions, passports are viewed as a safeguard against arrest. As a Latina transgender woman and first generation immigrant, I know institutional protections are no match against brute authoritarianism. To access and provide care, we must first abandon our binding patriotism.

To Be Pretti or Good
The killing of Alex Pretti and Renee Good by ICE agents should not just be regarded but felt. The 14 holes in the piece represent the total number of rounds fired by ICE agents. As a society, we should all strive to identify with people who are victims of state sanctioned violence.

Debutante Glove
Made of work-hardened, forged brass, this "glove" is more armor than clothing. Women shed girlhood at all ages, entering a society that does not prioritize their safety. Instead, they armor themselves to appear unapproachable with makeup and clothing, like knights of old might don steel.

She Is Free!
This piece is about body image and self acceptance. Loving my body that I have been blessed with has always been important to me. The woman's pose in this piece along with the colors around her represent the vibrancy and joy that comes with self acceptance and loving the body she has been given.

Gentle Reminders
This piece is about the gentle reminders I use as affirmations when beginning a creative project. To have fun and abandon perfectionism, value the process over the results, take deep breaths, and drop expectations - mess it up! Starting a project can be daunting; these reminders ground me.

The History of Punk and Protest
Each of the 5 vases represents a different theme found in Punk music. The five themes are feminism, nuclear destruction, consumerism, Margret Thatcher, and war. These themes are loosely attached to different time periods, creating visual history of the issues punk music addresses.

Rooted
Sculptural ceramic piece shaped as a torso with rough stained clay and flowing root like black glaze on the top. It's posture and texture evoke a struggle and tension in a raw expressive form that conveys vulnerability and strength.

Chloe Ramstrom
Childlike Minds
The four jars represent different types of girls, all with unique traits and looks. The inside of their heads show how everyone has a different sense of creativity, and different voices are to be valued in art.

Would you remember?
This series of wheel-thrown bottle forms acts as a conversation with my estranged Grandfather. The veil of childhood ignorance has long disappeared, although I still long for who he was in the eyes of my younger self. Would he remember these few memories if they were attached to a whisky bottle?
