Focused on haunted attractions throughout the Midwest, Ominews is an imaginary magazine for tweens that includes reviews, behind the scenes, profiles of monsters, and information about top attractions. My design is inspired by the ominous feeling of static noise on a TV and is a symbol for news.

FitWits is an imaginary clothing brand that combines wacky humor with style. The poster shows a sample of of the brand's design system, including the logo, colors, mockups, and samples of the website and catalog. My designs are inspired by my Basenji, a mischievous dog who likes to play games.

Woodstream Gift Wrap is a brand featuring my handdrawn designs that bring artistry to gift-giving. Each pattern shows nature-inspired elements, creating wrapping paper that makes every present feel special. This poster showcases favorite designs, and I'm now selling the gift wrap to local retailers

This digital piece was meant to mimic traditional oil paints and depict a shelf in a cozy home. The two origami pieces resting on the shelf, a lion and a bat, each represent someone and their hopes for a time where they can enjoy each other's company in the warm sunlight with little stress or worry.
Da Capo Brand Design
This is a full, 74-page book with the branding guidelines, as well as mockups of the brand in action, for a fake bar called Da Capo. The submitted photo showcases how the book would be displayed in a gallery space, as well as spreads and mockups featured in the book itself.
The work is a rebuke of the current political landscape where politicians often work for corporate donations rather than the citizens they represent. Featuring the date of the countries founding & the date that Citizens United v FEC was decided, allowing corporations to make donations to politicians.

Choice is Beautiful is a Corporate Social Responsibility Campaign designed for e.l.f cosmetics. The campaign aims to provide financial assistance to women seeking reproductive healthcare. The designs showcase strength and beauty and were made for Instagram, a magazine, billboards, and web banners.
The logo for a made-up brand that sells various soda flavors with fruit pulp added in.
This is a self portrait of having same-sex attractions and desires that are forbidden by religion. The desire is something I long for, but also it is something I repeatedly try to tear out of me.

This piece was created by finding an article online and taking its content to create illustrations to place within the spread. Each illustration was hand drawn and transferred into Illustrator using AdobeCapture to get the hand-drawn journal look to the final piece.
This piece is a monogram made from my initials MLO. The font that was used was AM Udine, which has a very uniform look, allowing for all of the pieces of the letters to fit together very nicely.
Kinetic Magazine
Arc is a mobile app and smart home device system that I designed to help seniors manage temperature, schedules, and energy use. Their adult children can monitor eco stats and adjust settings remotely. With clear visuals and intuitive controls, Arc improves accessibility and efficiency.
2D Digital design project. Includes collaged "night out" photos taken on a flip phone, text notification graphic implying that using a flip phone forces you to live in the moment. Touches on the topic of newer generations being more attached to their smartphones and less present while with friends.
A set of 25 different typography focused based cards with prompts to help users cope with anxiety and stress in their day to day lives. Handmade laser engraved box to house the cards.
The four seasonal menus for the Les Saisons Restaurant brand created by the artist. Restaurant is French inspired, based in Minnesota and all ingredients for each dish can be harvested or stored during that season, ensuring for fresh local produce.
